Conference Planning and Logistics: CCI has been contracted to support an array of meetings ranging from small, local meetings to multi-day out-of town conferences with a large number of participants. Our staff provides a full complement of conference management and meeting support services before, during, and after each meeting. Our staff also includes skilled facilitators who help guide discussion in order to encourage consensus, agreement on strategies, and the development of program recommendations.
Recently, CCI was contracted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to plan, support, and convene a conference to discuss successes and problems associated with the NIOSH Ombudsman Program and the Radiation effected Claimant’s of the Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The two and a half day meeting was held in O’Fallon, Missouri and brought together 50 geographically dispersed participants representing a variety of disciplines and socio-economic statuses. Participants included claimants, federal lawyers, representatives of various client representative groups and associations, factory custodians, scientists who work with radioactive materials, as well as staff representing several federal agencies (e.g., NIOSH, OSHA, and HHS).
Other meetings supported by CCI include the ALS National Registry Conference, iEHDI Kick-Off Meeting, an Expert Panel Meeting regarding Falls Prevention, an Expert Meeting for Community Approach to Drowning Prevention, as well as the panel review of supplement applications to RFA-IP08-80303SUPP10, “Vaccines for Children Program Immunization Grants Supplemental for Aggregate Reporting of Pandemic Influenza”.
